Alert me when someone posts in this thread:

I have only the most rudimentary knowledge of my multi-meter. I can test for voltage or resistance but that's it. So what do I do to test for parasitic drains, etc?

I read a thread for a few weeks back where someone had a bad wiper motor that was draining the batt while it continually tried to close. One of my HL wipers only occasionally parks closed, so that may be worth looking at. Otherwise I don't know.

OTOH, the radio on a daughter's 9-3 died last summer in a burst of static, then her new battery kept being drained. We pulled the dead radio out of the loop and all was fine. But that was glaringly obvious. On my 9K, not so much!
