Re: Door Locks/Key Fob - Saabnet.com Bulletin Board
The key fob may not be the one that came with the car. Meaning is not programed to the alarm module. In addition, several functions can be turned on and of including door locks when armed or disarmed with a techII devise. First determine if the key fobs is actually communicating with alarm module. Perform this by observing and noting the alarm led light on the driver's side speaker grill. steady on when first armed to blinking within several seconds to steady on again when disarmed. then determine if the door lock relay is receiving the ground signals which should come from the alarm module when you press the button on key fob.
