This afternoon I installed two luggage (or cargo) hooks in the trunk of my sedan. Last Thursday I visited our local salvage yard and removed two hooks from a 95 9000 hatchback. Today I spent the afternoon lying in the trunk of my CDE putting them in the forward corners of the trunk. It took a while. There is a crossbar in both vehicles with one screw on each end and one screw in the middle. The hooks fit under this crossbar. They are screwed down in the hatchback. The sedan has no hooks installed. However, when I got the crossbar removed in the sedan there were two holes on each side waiting for my hooks. The holes were much too big to use the screws that came out of the hatchback. I put two larger screws through the hooks and into the existing holes and let the crossbar hold them down. Success!
