it sounds like the nylon gear has broken on your seat which is a fairly easy fix . if you get underneath the seat in the back and then push up and down using the buttons you can figure out which motor it is that's not working.as far as the grounds I'm not real familiar yet with a 9000 but I believe there is a ground behind the left speaker on the dash.now as far as the locks are concerned basically what I had to end up doing was disassembling the inner door panels and lubricating and cleaning the motors to get them to go up and down properly. Also for the locks to work properly the switch contact needs to be cleaned basically what I had to do is take the whole entire switch pack apart that has the window switches and the lock switches in it and completely clean everything and apparently I didn't get it all clean the first time so I did it a second time take your time when doing this and clean all the copper connections as well really really well take note at where all of it is when you take it apart and take it apart slowly it comes apart in 2 different sections. My mirrors have worked so not familiar with the process for fixing them. The other thing I was told is that the older lock modules underneath the steering column worked better than the 96 7 and 8. So I got one out of an older year and the locks have worked great ever since.if you need the number off of that lock module or whatever it's called I can probably get that for you tomorrow.I really kind of enjoyed fixing all the little things on the 9000 everything actually was fairly simple and a lot of the information I was able to get in the archives off of this site. It just takes a lot of digging.the other thing I had a problem with this somebody put the wrong tail light bulbs in so the pictogram on the dash was always lit up with a problem. I can also look up which number on the bulbs is the correct number if you need. Good luck have fun
