I'm fairly certain that the lengths of the automatic axles are different from the axles for the manual 5-speed transmissions. I recently called eEuroparts asking about the cheap Chinese versions of these axles - they list the automatic version only and said that they no longer have access to the manual version. Therefore, I will need to replace the about-to-crack boot on my current passenger-side axle, which is a huge, messy pain - it's one of the jobs that I farm out to my indy mechanic.
