With any automatic turbo equipped with a BPC valve, removing fuse 9 will give manual-level boost. Some adaptation may be required to get the full benefit. Of course, the sunroof and windows won't work, so check the weather first!
The alternative is to get into the console by the shift lever and either cut the orange wire in there, which tells the ECU that it's in an auto (read up in earlier posts to be sure what you're doing), or put a switch into this circuit so you can disable it at will.
However, if you do this in an automatic Aero you will only get the standard CSE-type manual boost levels because it has a different, smaller turbo than a manual Aero. The effect will be increased torque but your max power will not go up from 200 to 225 bhp - in fact it won't go up, period
Is it worth it? probably not IMHO, and I speak from experience having done it in the past. You already have a quick car - relax and enjoy the ride without risking breaking a 20-plus-year-old transmission
As to the cruise control, I have read that using cruise limits you to base boost. Once again, even if that's true it doesn't really matter in real life driving
