OK, here goes. After some recent work on my 1995 9000 sedan I found that the central locking system would not work. I could not unlock or lock the doors. I knew my indie had not messed with the locks. It had been brake work. While looking down at the dash, I noticed that he had turned the headlight switch all the way to the left. I always leave the switch all the way to the right. I turned the switch full right and suddenly I had a fully functioning lock system. The central locking system has been working just fine since then.
Want to talk about the SAAB electrical System? OMG, it is SO complicated.
I remember my 1961 6 cylinder Chevy pickup. Open the hood and you could see and understand everything.
None the less, I love my SAAB
