into all the trouble of getting to the valve (or valves depending on the model year), just get some new check valves (about $12 a piece at the dealer and cheaper from some of Saabnet's sponsors) and replace all the check valves down there. Forget about lubing the thing because it will leak or stuck again. It's the rubber membrane in the valve that leaks or turns to a sticky mess.
Yes, you can get to the valves from the bottom, not much space to get to the valves but you can do that. Give yourself time and patience. Some check valve may have a flow restrictor fitted so make sure you remove it from the old one and put it in correct branch of the new one. Make sure you mark the hoses before removing the hoses, you don't want to mix them up.
Good luck.
