Don, I picked the car up from Dan Morley a few years ago. It was running great when I picked it up. After the drive to my home the vacuum advance unit was leaking. It was what 40 years old, so not unexpected. Found someone to rebuild it in Portland, OR. Next to go was the brake booster diaphragm, going through Scanwest I was able to get that rebuilt. The car drives very well. Two years ago I had the car painted. It's very solid no rust, etc. At the same time the car was painted I had the windshield replaced and replaced the dried out gasket as well. Used a OG 900 gasket. Had to cut approx 2" out of the bottom, just like I read on the internet.
Currently trying to get the interior redone. Have someone lined up. I'm just trying to find the time to drop the car off, and be able to pick it up in a timely manner. Social and work obligations are keeping that from happening at the moment. I'll see about linking some photos, although all I have date back to when it was getting painted.
I also have a second 69 99 that is in storage and in need of a lot of the same work.
Oh the GF has a 9-7x, her parents have 4 other Saabs, from 1988 to 2011 vintage.
