I checked the VIN and it's a 72... and the parts car that I have has a similar dash and center console (it's also a '72). All I can think is that, somewhere in its past, a mild restoration was done and older parts were used.
I am going to try to get a 2.1L and 5-speed in it by summer time, which should get it to be a kick butt daily driver. In the meanwhile, I am going to change out the bushings, replace the ball joints, change out the brakes and brake lines and clean out the fuel system.
Oh.. I need rear springs. Does anyone know of a spring shop that can make them?
