There was a SAAB Service Information issued in 12/78, #339 for 1978 model cars which discussed a remedy for oil leakage through the small vent hole in the clutch shaft cover. After removing the cover, drill a 0.16 in (4 mm) hole opposite the existing hole. I have the service sheet. The new hole should be drilled at 7:00 on the cover face if the existing hole is at 1:00 on the face. The hole is to be drilled 0.45 in (11.5 mm) from 6:00 on the outer edge at the point where the cover is flat.
