I did this once the opposite way , not too long ago, I wanted to use a later box that had T drivers, with paddle rubber drivers as original for the 64 GT 850. , and it is not too hard. Basically I would remove the ring gear from the 63b box, set aside the diff case entirely, bolt on the origuinal 63 ring gear to the later 66 diff case. Also use new axel seals for the lATER GEARBOX. The axel shafts are a different size, same with the metal bore hole in the diff case. This is why the axel seals are different size. Thanks and goodluck day time phone 919 596 4250. Don
