If memory serves, it was the same bolt pattern. No adapter needed. I'll post the NAPA number when I return home at the end of the week. (I'm in Japan attending a conference).
I checked the parts cross references at the VSCNA website:
vintage saab club (dot) org
but didn't find the number.
This universal sender was described in numerous old SAAB JOURNAL (by Jack Ashcraft) and other times in the NINES magazine (SCNA) in the Shoptech section dealing with the vintage cars.
