Hello to you in the Lone Star State Phil!
well, it seems that it's after the fact... but a good replacement door/window weatherstripping is at JC Whitney: search SKU #: JCW-132561
I've used this on my Sonett III and Sonett V4.. works like a champ.
If I may inquire, from whom did you purchase your house-mortgaged weatherstrips from? As expensive as Ashcraft's parts are, they usually include well documented instructions... rightly so, you are paying them for the 40+ years of SAAB knowledge.
For example, the universal JCW weatherstripping has the metal channel embedded in the rubber channel. then simply forming it first to get the approx shape and length, then I used a small bit of RTV along the door seam before placing the strip over.
Hope this helps.
R/ Mike
