Yeah, trying to fiddle around with two sets of strut spring compressors on a single spring seemed like a fast and guaranteed way to get really injured. I'll check the Harbor Freight near here and give it a try. I have to admit I'm not the least bit excited about this task, other than to get the little stinker to handle like it should, without all the clunks from the old joint. Thanks for the advice. I'll post any relevant details once it's done.
