Alert me when someone posts in this thread:

Well, you're in luck.

I also have a '68 Deluxe. When I bought it, it came with the dealer-installed air conditioning system...but it was in the trunk. The previous owner had removed all the bits and stored them. He didn't think Vermont summers (all two weeks of them) warranted the extra stuff in the engine bay. And when I bought the car, he wanted it gone, so he put it all in the trunk.

So I just braved the cold (about 20 F) and went out in the barn and dug out the condenser. It measures 23" by 12" by 3/4" and is slightly curved. I took pictures of it and can email them to you if you contact me directly.

Your next question might be "will you sell me the condenser?"

Well, first off, it's very unlikely I would ever install the system, so I have thought about selling it. However, since it is a complete system, I wouldn't want to break it up. It has the compressor, the underdash unit, the hoses, the double crank pulley and obviously the condenser.
