Thank you Don! This is a very timely post.
I'll be installed the head on my '64 Bullnose 850 in the near future and I was contemplating my old "springer" torque wrench, as you call it, and wondering if was up to the task. In fact, I was thinking of asking my sons for one of the "clicker" ones for Christmas. Seems like the ones I see reasonably priced are spec'd at +/-4% accuracy. Do you think that's good enough for the old Saabs?
