The weather up here in Michigan warmed up this week so I thought I would take out my 72' 95. I tried to start it up but was not getting any gas. I popped off the fuel line at right before the pump and no gas came out. This summer when I would fill the tank gas would leak out if I filled it too high. The large rubber hose from the tank looked rotten so I ordered a new one but haven't put it on yet. I crawled underneath today to discover 3 different breather hoses. None were connected. Maybe the big hose wasn't leaking.
There was a thin one coming out of the side of the tank and 2 coming out of the filler neck. the two ends were not connected to anything. one had a Y fitting. Does anyone know the correct configuration of the fuel tank venting system?
Check out my photos.
