Ray - what model are you speaking about? it is true that the sonett changed in mid-year 1967 from two stroke to the V4 for the last (close to 200) sonetts of that year. They retained their wooden dash but got a new bonnet for carb clearance. i never heard of them being called back across the ocean. i have a 67 V4 sonett (open head 1500), Roger at BASC
