Might be able to help you with the ratios for the 99T. The 99T-80 came with a 5-speed gearbox. This is what my Swedish factory manual tells me anyway, might be different in the US.
The ratios (99T-80, starting with the primary gear). 32:25 (0,84), 15:34 (2,27), 9:35 (3,89). The last numbers are for the final drive, and are the same for all models (turbo and non-turbo).
From the gearbox number you can tell the ratio of the primary gear (donīt know if itīs the same on the 900, but i believe the gearboxes are the same). There might be other typings on later gearboxes as well. For example: G34501: The fourth position says that gearbox ratio is of type 5, the third position says that itīs a 4-speed gearbox.
Gearbox ratio types in number of sprockets in/out and ratio:
4= 31/30 (0,97)
5= 30/27 (0,90)
6= 31/26 (0,84)
7= 32/25 (0,78) (I believe this is the gearbox for the 99T-80)
Hope some of this will help
