you need a front cover from a 1980 99 that has the litle half moon shape thingy at the bottom to seal the countergear shaft. also you will need a five speed shifter housing bottom part to let the shifter go into the 5th gear position. I have put five speeds in several 99's, and my advice would be to keep the 99 a 4 speed and make the cv a 5 speed----much more fun!
