Hello fellow BASCers,
Seems like the club has sailed into the doldrums as far as this year's activites go. Even though the plea has gone out for help from our remaining club president (Roger), I guess we're all too busy (myself included) to organize or help organize events for the rest of the year. Since such is seemingly the case, my suggestion is that our Saab Club ask to help co-organize some other clubs' (Volvo?) events, or to simply ask to "tag along" on other clubs' outings.

I, myself, haven't been involved with organizing any of our events, but I can imagine the time and work involved. At this point, since it seems no one in BASC has the time or inclination to "carry the ball", those of us that would enjoy an outing with our cars would do well to investigate some of the other local car club's activities, make some contacts, and ask the question, "Can we help share in some of your activites, or just tag along?"

Just a thought. Let me know if this idea has merit.
