Re: Hard to start! anyone can help? - Saabnet.com Bulletin Board
Fuel Pressure Regulator does sound like a good starting point. I haven't worked on any NG900s, but generally FPRs are pretty reasonably-priced and easy to replace.
A trick that might help you start the car: when you are going to start the car, put the key in the ignition and turn it to ON (not start!), and leave it there for a few seconds - that gets the fuel pump going for maybe two seconds. Then you can try to start it. Or, maybe you'll need to turn it to ON for a few seconds, turn it off, then ON for a few more seconds to run the fuel pump again, and repeat this until the fuel system has enough pressure to start the car.
