I'd as this on the 9-5 board - but you should post more info if you want a useful response:
1) what price?
2) What model/transmission?
3) What service history?
4) Are you planning on doing work yourself, or do you have a good mechanic?
5) How you respond to spending more now vs possible and unpredictable repair costs?
I have a 2000 Aero with 70,000. At present I have no intention of getting rid of it - It's a lot cheaper to keep and maintain than to get a new car. And, most important, I like the car.
Clearly at 1150K, you will see things that need work, but a lot of folks on the 9-5 board have upwards of 200K.
