Well I lucked out. I asked my independent Carl Jardeval of Nordic Motors, Inc. and he recommended California Auto Upholstery, 1803 El Camino Real, San Carlos. In fact, right across the street from the old Nordic Motors, they moved to a larger building. I found THE guy! Omar Yalle. I wanted to have my daughter's Volvo 850T drivers seat bottom redone because it was torn and cracked. I found another seat bottom at the p-n-p plus took the back seat leather skin off very carefully. I gave the whole thing to Omar and he said bring your car in tomorrow at 4PM and pick it up at 6PM. What a job! In less than 24 hours he removed the seat, sewed a new leather seat cover with the provided pieces and reinstalled the seat, $150! Next, I took my '86 SPG driver's seat in, Justin those seats you sold me the leather stitching finally gave way after 12 years in the garage!!? I found a passenger's seat bottom out of another SPG, took out the drivers seat, gave the whole thing to Omar. He sewed in new hoops, hog rings and had the seat back together in less than 24 hours! This guy is the man. I ran into several SAAB/Volvo people while picking up my seats all sent over by Nordic Motors. He said he could order the grey Bridge of Wear leather, but there are enough pickings to make up anything needed. This guy is very talented, professional and clean. There was a '91 900T conv., green there getting a new top and seat repair also, sent over by Nordic Motors.
