ONE MORE THING, the new sockets were ORIO parts from Czech Republic, sourced from the local Saab dealer. There were NO markings at all on the socket itself. I think there are still some Uro parts floating around as well.
I saw no differences between Visteon, Uro and Orio.
I tend to think that a small zip tie wrapped around the outside of the socket wouldn't hurt tho, stop it from splaying out, if that is part of the problem.
