Back in August I posted here that I had an incident on I-66 here in northern Virginia with some road debris that creamed my intercooler and did some damage to my front bumper skin. I have a NG 9-5 Turbo4 Premium, that I bought in June. The dealer was able to locate an intercooler right away (Buick Regal Turbo?), but body parts were not to be found anywhere, so they glued the skin together at the point of damage. The vehicle has been perfectly driveable. The skin was on backorder. Well, after 3 months of waiting, the skin is in. I'm picking it up this week. The dealer's sales guy told me they have now pressed enough sheet metal to supply more than the number of NG 9-5s sold in the US (his description). Thankfully, they also molded bumper skins.

Now, to contact my favorite body shop for the installation and painting...and I'll be back in business.
