I don't think the price for the car is especially high given that it has just about every option that would've been available. MSRP with the rear DVD was about $52k and change.
While the base model 9-5 wasn't poorly equipped, the premium package gets you a sunroof, more attractive and larger wheels and most significantly, parking sensors front and rear. Rear vision is especially bad in these cars. I need all the help I can get!
If the car you're looking at has the Harman Kardon upgraded speaker package, it sounds far superior to the standard stereo.
The one thing I would advise you to purchase is a Saab Secure warranty. While any authorized Saab service facility is able to sell it to you, some don't seem to be interested in offering it. I bought mine directly from Saab Parts NA. There are many coverage options available, none of which is outrageously expensive. Warranties can be purchased for any 2010-2011 Spyker-era Saab with under 70k miles.
My 2011 9-5 Turbo4 Premium has been the most reliable car I've owned. I do wish it had the HiPerStrut suspension of the Aero model but I didn't want the Haldex XWD. It has been a problem for some owners mostly related to a too-small filter that becomes clogged from what I've read.
My only problems have been with a failed seat heater and an outside mirror that would not retract. By this point in time with my 2003 9-5 I had replaced the water pump twice, throttle body once and been stranded about 100 miles or so away from home. And those were the good years.
