There are four coverage options: Basic, Standard, Preferred and Premier. I bought a 60 month/60k mile Premier package, the longest term and most comprehensive available. My cost was roughly $2700. My plan has a $100 deductible. A shorter term and less coverage would as you might expect be cheaper. My 9-5 had 15k miles at the time I purchased the warranty. Would a plan for a car with higher mileage cost more? I don't know.

If I didn't mention it in my prior message, Saab Secure warranties are available to any owner of any 2010-2011 SWAN Spyker-era 9-3, 9-4X or 9-5 Saab with mileage under 70k miles. Saab Parts NA did a reasonable job of trying to get word out when the warranty package was rolled out a couple of years ago. Beyond that it's up to the dealer/service center. There isn't much profit in it for a dealer and probably little commission for the head of the dealer's finance department. As I said in my prior message I worked directly with Saab Parts NA when I bought my warranty.

To the person who paid $4500 for the GM warranty, I would suggest you compare the coverage between what it offers versus the Saab Secure plan. If the GM plan is better, keep it. Otherwise, I'd cancel it and use the cash you'll get back towards a Saab Secure warranty.
