I agree Mike, in fact as far as the discussions of wagons versus the 9-3. Recently I came out of the store and on my right side thier was a saab wagon and on my left was an audi A6 something wagon, we were all lined up perfectly, from the side there did not appear to be any real significant diffence in the rear of the wagons and the 9-3, a little more but not much, however from the back view the audi green house really pinches in, reducing any advatage of space, unlike the 9-3 or 9-5 wagon. The 9-3 is practically as large as most wagons and much larger than the likes of Subarus, toyotos and the now popular Ford focus wagon.
Oh and it was our 2nd child that put us over the hump in to minivan world.
