Note for all Viggen onwers
Posted by Wade (more from Wade) on Thu, 1 Aug 2002 13:17:46

I just got my 99 Viggen back after two days, for the 20k checkup and some misc. (Cost $180. Also got four new rims because of the plating was coming off. Instead of replacing the plugs for the third time. My Master tech. spoke with a Saab programmer and the t7 have a new program for the carbon and ignition system called "sps tiff 2001 tech update". First of all I pick up the car this morning drove it into work and it’s like a whole new car. I’m back in the middle of the red again just like the original t7, back when I first got the car. It has more power in all gears, and no cold start problem at all, even with under a 1/4 tank. And I still have the same plugs in the car with 5k miles on them I’m going to run the car for a little while then we are pulling the plugs to see if the carbon is better or worst, while the engine management system adjust to the new program. The tech update is not listed in the bulletins so have your Saab tech call Saab and ask about it. Don’t take no for an answer this one is a winner.
