Take an hour and search all postings on this board for the word 'Viggen'. You'll learn much about the goods an bads. To other responses here, I'd add check the brakes as it may need new rotors (not just pads). Also, lean towards a Viggen that's un-modified, especially the ECU. These cars stock are rated at 100hp/liter and in reality put out more. That's a bunch. Some out there with aftermarket ECU's may have seen a bit too much stress by now.
Bottom line though is, don't worry to much about it. Find one that's obviously clean & well maintained. Then deal, buy, and enjoy! These are wonderful cars.
