I currently have an '01 9-5 Aero and since last summer a hand-me-down '95 NG900S. I've also have atleast 5 9000's over the years and much preferred them to the OG900 or the 9-3's. However, after 6+ months with the NG900 - using it as my daily driver at 100 miles a day - it has grown on me.
Yes, the 9-5 is more luxurious, has considerably more power, and on the highway gets better mileage but the NG900 is tighter and more of what I feel a Saab should be. Mileage at 70 MPH is 32 or so, traction during the winter with Nokia's on all four wheels was excellent and the car is bullet proof. No DIC's to go bad, No Code 6's or 8's to worry about. The car has 130K on it and will probably hit 200K without a problem.
But then, I better be quiet, the 9-5 will hear me!
