Fluid is really good?

When is the last time the fluid was changed? If it hasn't been done in the past 15,000 miles, get a case of fluid and change what is in the pan at least 3 times.
While it may not solve your particular problem, it is inexpensive and certainly won't hurt. And it just may help.

Incidently, some Ford transmissions had a problem when it felt and sounded like the car/truck was going over rumble strips. Even though the fluid looked pristine, the factory solution was to change the ATF-and the factory solution works!
