Can anyone give me some advice on this? I removed the front axles by taking the inner drive boot off. I have tried lightly prying but am very reluctant to use too much force. They don't seem to want to budge. I can just clean everything out and reassemble but I would really like to get proper installation of the inner metal bands and my tool will not work at a right angle. Everything looks good wear wise. I just replaced the strut mounts and bearings so I thought I would rebuild the CV joints as well.
Any input would be welcomed.
