well I do have a impact wrench, and I use a motor cycle jack to support the tranny. and I have a bar I made up to support the motor, with a long threaded bold, to drop the motor the amount I need.
so, lets see. drive the car up on ramps, use floor jack to raise it up higher and put in 2 jack stands, 10 mins.
undo the top nuts holding the downpipe to the turbo, loosen the one under it 5 mins, undo the exhaust bolts after the convertor, swing the DP out of the way 5 mins. disconnect the clutch cable and the reverse switch 5 mins.
lock the tranny in 4rd gear, loosen the clamp bolt on shift rod, move the shifter to 3rd and lock it, 5 mins.
take off the 2 front tires, 5 mins, take the nut off the balljoint and pop it out with the ball joint tool, 5 mins each side.
undo the 6 bolts holding up the sub frame, and take out the bolt for the rear motor mount 10 mins to drop the sub frame. drain the tranny fluid 5 mins
pop out the driver side drive shaft and tie it up 5 mins
disconnect the ground wire on the front side, take out the bolt 3 bolts 10 mins. put the motorcycle jack with wood on it under tranny 5 mins
undo the top bolts 10 mins, wiggle the tranny out of the clutch and pass side drive shaft 15 mins, lower the tranny, replace the throwout bearing.
raise the tranny, wiggle it back in place aligning it to clutch and driveshaft. 1/2 hour. put all the bolts back in the tranny, 5 mins
put every thing else back in place 3/4 hour.
i guess to me doesn't sound like a big job, but then again I have swapped motors a few times on these cars.
