Does the car leak too much oil? Start the car up, does the oil light come on then shut off? If the light is coming on and you don't have any complaints about oil drips on the driveway then put off the crankshaft seal and oil pressure sensor.
Have the PVC update done and CHANGE THE OIL with synthetic every 5k miles. Have the belts and pulleys done as the pulleys are common failure point for these cars.
I'm wondering why the bypass valve would need to be replaced. Does the car have any issues with stalling or any check engine lights? Same goes for the DIC, any CELs/ does the car have any running issues?
A/c compressor- dont run the a/c if the compressor's going bad! You will circulate shards of metal throughout the system and cause more problems when you goto repair it.
TBA, it seems like their just giving you the "new customer service." Everything on that list is a somewhat or common failure but what are the odds its all really failed?
If you really do need the work done, a lot of the parts are EASY to diy. The DIC is right on top of the engine and held on by 4 torx bolts. Takes five minutes to replace. The bypass valve is almost as easy. If you or your son are mechanically inclined, the belt and pulleys are a good "beginners" job too.
