Yeah, as an example you might get a code that says camshaft-position sensor. Many of us know (for OG9.3 which is C.B.'s car) there isn't any physical sensor. Instead it's an indication of a failing DI cassette.
Anders, John Myers, & others should help interpret the codes and/or suggest additional tests to figure out what's really happenning.
