2.0T 1997 900SE
After a no start I thought I properly diagnised a faulty fuel pump. No pump noise with ignition on, good fuses, relays. Jumped it at fuse box AND at the pump. No go. I did crank it plenty while trying to diagnose as well.
At the shop, the car shows no compression on any cylinder. I did notice the crank noise was different at the end of my diagnosis. Could I have done something? I have suspected head gasket about to go for a while. Loosing coolant slowly through every hose clamp location on the car (high pressure in coolant system?).
Mechanic mentioned something about oil pump seized(?), but that doesn't make sense to me, it's on the crank right? Also, i was not listening well at that point, I was dreaming of what SAAB to buy next.
Pressures were below 50PSI on the best one.
Any therories of what happened? Not going to fix right away (or at all). I'm shopping around.
