I've traced similar posts, but didn't find one that came to a final resolution. Need to replace windshield in my '02 vert. Safelite glass guy showed up and can't replace it because he can't locate the needed moulding. The Saab dealer they work with said they have 3 already on backorder (and, by they way, closing up on 31 Aug). My moulding is a single metal piece that goes up one side, across the top and down the other side which has a rubber weather stip on the non-windshield side. All the parts sites and my EPC show the moulding as 3 separate pieces - left, top, right (43 30 031, 43 70 557, 43 30 049), 2 different spacers (2 ea), 4 clips, and no weather strip. What's the answer? Will this 3 part system work? Why is what I got different? The repair guy and other posts say you can't reuse the existing moulding - gets damaged during removal. That rules out salvage yards.
