All of the tutorials I've ever seen on the NG900 and 9-3 have the engine coming out the top. I also don't think that the B234 block has the fitting on the back of it for the oil separator that the T7 engines use. If you're going to use a B234 block and pistons, maybe you don't need the T7 PCV system, but that's something I haven't gotten into yet.
