YES!
I have been wondering the same thing: my O-rings are starting to weep at the pump...
and I am wondering if I should even replace the water pump...or just replace the O-rings.
I say this because I've hit a major wall with my c900: I replaced the slave cylinder in the clutch ~6 years ago when I did the whole thing; threw out the original one,,,and now my slave is frozen-open. F@CK!
So are the new ones good? yes of course. they're fine. but how does a water pump fail? bearings fry, leak, etc. but when? hours, not miles.
So do I replace my pump while I am in there (tensioner pulley and belt too)?
Or do I add Bar's stop-leak?
Sorry to hijack your post.
Mine's lasted 139,000 so far, and the pump is still fine. O-rings not so much.
