but since it's non-hardening, it may migrate and leak later. Hylomar may prevent O-rings from rolling when installed, but a heavy silicone lube like Parker-Lube would do the same. If leakage is caused by galvanic erosion of the waterpump tube O-ring seats, tube (p/n-9137514) replacement would be needed. Unfortunately, new tubes are NLA.

Removal of any rust on waterpump hole in cast iron block would improve tube seal.
