oil pan drop, surprising

I was having this intermittent oil light on turns and an engine tick that came when driving. I had done two liquimoly engine flushes. After a lot of hesitation I did the oil pan drop which turned out no to be bad as I had thought. I think the use of ramps instead of jacks helped with the physics involved.
The screen was completely clean, not even a spec. However, there were small chunks of debris at the bottom of the pan which I believe blocked the screen upon warming up.
The bushings to were however worn out and very loose. After a good clean to take care of the varnish, and putting everything together now the car is purring. No lights at tight turns again.
It's a 2002 new-to-me car at 91K miles that didn't even have the PCV update. A little TLC has seen it come alive again
Now if only someone could direct me on how to take care of the battery light that doesn't go off until about 1500 RPM. The alternator was replaced about a month ago.
