I used this product:

It's been about 4 years now, and they still look good. I think the important thing is to get the caliper really clean. I disassembled it, including removing the piston, scrubbed it with a toothbrush and paint thinner, then again with isopropyl alcohol. I didn't clean the cylinder bore. I used the isopropyl alcohol with less water - I think it's 91%. Then dry in the sun. The cylinder you don't need to mask, since you're brushing on the paint, but if you don't fill the holes for the brake line and bleeder valve, paint will drip down onto their threads. I also painted the external parts of the piston.
I did two coats, which means four applications, since you do one side at a time. When flipping it over, put it on waxed paper so you don't have your painted surface stick to anything. Even though it should be a full day before you flip it over to paint the other side, it will still be a bit sticky. After your first coat, you'll see some areas that didn't have adequate coverage. Leave those alone until applying the second coat the next day, or you'll have brush marks. The paint is self leveling, so no brush marks if you apply relatively quickly, then leave it alone to dry.
I've tried spray can (high-temp engine enamel), and the results didn't last even a year. That paint picks up grease easily and becomes dull and discolored.
