Parasitic drain - fuse 05? - Saabnet.com Bulletin Board
I've been having a drained battery in the morning. The battery is low (under 12V) after sitting overnight after a long drive. It will usually start, but sometimes struggles, and sometimes the battery is too low.
I did a parasitic drain test. I got impatient and started pulling fuses before 20 minutes. Fuse 5 surprised me by dropping ~300 mA, for the right-hand power seats. There was some clicking when plugging it back in and out but I could not figure out what it was. Fuse 16 of the left-hand seat did nothing. I left the fuse out while doing the rest of them. When I was done, plugging it back in did not make the current draw return. I'm confused - not sure where to go from there.
Fuse 17 dropped 100 mA as well, but that's the one that controls lots of things including DICE/TWICE so that was expected. Current dropped to <20 mA after 20 minutes as expected.
