2000 9-3 SE Automatic Transmission.
Omg I feel so dumb. Chastise me for being a fool.
My oil light came on while making a few turns today omw to work. (It's close to oil change time, but it now burns oil since its at 196k miles). After my ten hour shift, I bought a quart of oil to tide me over until I do the full change.
In a dumb stupor I threw it right into where the transmission fluid goes.
Jumped right in, went to pick up my fiance from her parent's house about 15 miles away. Once I was almost there, the horror of what I had done hit me. I had no choice but to finish the trip. I've driven about 30 miles now.
My mechanic isn't open till Tuesday. I can drain and replace myself tomorrow, but is that enough? Should I get a flush done? Is my transmission now doomed for an imminent failure?
Feedback appreciated
