I have a 97 900SE vert with auto tranny. A different Saab, not a 900, not quite a 9-3, but close. I'm not a fan of the bells and whistles of the 9-3s/9-5s, these are simpler. Not as loved as other models (think 99s vs 900s), a transitional model. I like it, but obviously others cast shade on the choice. Four speed tranny MUCH better than 3-speed Borg Warner on C900s. But it ain't no 5-speed. You may miss the overdrive.
