Alert me when someone posts in this thread:

fit a cut-out and go full 3" I'd say and Nick's stuff flat out works! he's proven it! I have a cut out on my otherwise stock viggen exhaust as it's a quick cheap fix ! that is exactly what I have on my Saab Viggen too! a ( mechanical )cut out! goes fr hush hush stock to wild child WFO OMG loud at the flick of a wrist! I would want one on a 3" system too! there are mufflers w/ a valve too that open when you get on the gas you don't want the loud drone on a long trip !the "drone" ( droning sound )? just close the valve! I don't mind it but on a long trip maybe it would be objectionable? Frankly, it doesn't make much diff in HP a turbo is much less sensitive to exhaust tuning ! you just want/need a bloody 3" pipe, muffler etc . all the way back! - as soon as you can afford it! Theoreticly , ( and I'm told for more than stage 2 tuning )?? So as said my fix is wide open, no muffler or stock my choice and I like being a good neighbor ck out these cool electric cut outs !
