Yes, to what Jeremy said...I have a 97 900NG....These cars have to be almost perfect to have a smooth ride..1st thing is to take your wheels and tires to be balanced(roadforce) by a professional person..Torque the wheel bolts properly..The HUnter roadforce can also check out a bunch of goodies about the tires and wheels, how round they are or are not, etc..Make sure your front rotors and pads are good too..Even uneven brake pad transfer on the front rotors will cause a shimmy on our cars..I love Akebono brake pads, no problems at all for me...Stay away from all those high performance brake pads and rotors..Ive been that route, wasted money and did nothing but cause problems..I personally never had a problem with an OEM front axle..Ive done a few hard miles too with my Stage 3 tune...Good luck..Let us know if you find anything..
OH, make sure y our hubs are clean and flat when mounting your wheels
